| SPRING MOTORSTORM RACE MOVED TO SUNDAY 05.18.08 This is our first big race of the season, cash prizes for all classes! 3 entries make a class. Classes divided for all skill levels, Everyone welcome! We are sorry for the date change, it is certainly not an easy decision and it's impossible to accommodate everyone, but we think this gives us the best chance for a good turnout. The track will be open Saturday for practice. QUALIFYING STARTS @ 11:00 AM TRIPLE EXTENDED MAINS FOR ALL CLASSES! |
| TRACK CHANGE COMING SOON We're going to be buying screened dirt and reworking the track layout soon. Help is welcome. We'll be coordinating dates with the track officials. Please stay tuned. Donations of labor, equipment, materials and capital are welcome! |
| NON-MEMBER ENTRY FEES TO INCREASE The track is going to increase non member entry fees by $3 to $15. Member rates will remain at $10. Additional class entry is just $5 for everyone. Rent, Insurance & Other Costs have recently increased - We have always tried to maintain low entry fees while providing a place for all of us to race. We appreciate everyone's continued support of the Altoona Raceway! Track Membership is $25 for the Summer. We are also need to be collecting $5 practice fees. |
| TRACK MAINTENANCE We got some good work in on the track tonight. We installed some new pipe, rolled and regraded some areas that needed attention. We're going to try and keep the track moist and covered most of the week. Should be in great shape for the SPRING MOTORSTORM! The track will be open for MOTORSTORM practice on Saturday. |
