Race Results:
Great First Day of Off-Road Racing!!!
Prizes donated by AL'S TAVERN in ALTOONA - THANK YOU!!!
Sportsman:
We're shaping up for a very nice Sportsman class this year, but we need a
couple more newcomers to solidify it. Veteren, Ed Toth, won the race today as
there were not enough electric entries to make a class. That will change next
week as Fast Eddie rolls out his new RC8! All the racers who ran sportsman
today did a great job of going slow and learning to get it around the track.
Arena Truck:
Nice start to the Arena Truck (Truggy) class today. Everyone was fast. The
main featured several lead changes before last stretch engine troubles parked
Chuck Meyers' Losi and Doug Meyers who was closing fast on the final laps
took the checkered flag with his Mugen truck. Once again - Everyone ran very
well!
Gas Buggy:
Good buggy turnout today saw alot of fun racing. Jude Copetta, in his first
buggy race, took first in two heat races and qualified for the A-Main! Gregg
Kalemba battled Jerry Durst and Bob Strittmatter for a nice win in the B-Main.
The A-Main shuffled out to an awesome 3 car race between Sam Crawford,
Mike McGhee and Doug Meyers - when it was all said and done, Mike McGhee
scored an early season win for Team Associated. Recurring theme here -
Everyone ran very well!

Race Pics:
The new race day organization went well, and really for the first day it was great; however we do need to speed up
getting marshals to the track so everyone in the next race can fire up. Let's keep working together. The more
everyone helps out the more efficiently we can move through a race day, keeping the pace up and the racing exciting
for everyone.
Good Job Guys!
